In High School you get to pick your classes for the school year, the only requirement is that you have one of each core class (Math, Science, English, and History/Social Studies) and that you stay on track to have enough credits to graduate.

When picking your classes most schools have different levels of advancement to pick from depending on your skill in that specific subject.

You must also put into consideration extra class credits needed for graduation such as, technology or health.

When deciding your classes it’s important to consider the workload of each class as, even if it’s a straightforward class, if the workload competes with another class it’d be best to substitute that class with something else.
